Goji berry seed oil
01

Goji berry seed oil

INCI: Lycium Barbarum Seed OilNepalcold-pressed

Goji berry seed oil is known for its versatile skin revitalizing properties. It helps improve skin elasticity, smooth out fine lines, and even out skin tone, leaving the skin soft and radiant. Its high omega-6 content supports the skin's natural repair process and strengthens its protective barrier, while vitamin E prevents cell damage and slows down the signs of skin aging. The oil promotes blood circulation and accelerates cell metabolism, which helps skin regenerate and prevents melanin accumulation, such as the formation of age spots and freckles. Beta-carotene protects the skin from photoaging effects and acts as a powerful antioxidant. Goji berry seed oil provides comprehensive support to the skin, maintaining its youthfulness, protective capacity, and balance – which is precisely why it is considered one of nature's most valuable cosmetic oils.

Composition

Goji berries are widely known in Asia as red diamonds, and are said to offer numerous anti-aging health benefits to the body. Legend has it that Buddhist monks discovered goji berries hundreds of years ago while wandering in the mountains of Tibet. The monks who began to regularly incorporate goji berries into their diet are said to have lived longer than those who did not consume them. The oil obtained from the seeds of these berries is light and fast-absorbing, and is rich in essential fatty acids – particularly omega-6 linoleic acid – as well as vitamin E and beta-carotene, which acts as a precursor to vitamin A. The oil supports the skin's natural structure and protects it from external stressors.

Sustainability

In mountainous Nepal, for example in the village of Samagaun on the slopes of the Himalayas, the cultivation of goji berries is linked to local climate change resilience and women's economic empowerment. A UNDP-supported project has established greenhouses and solar dryers for growing and processing goji berries. A women-led farmer community participates in collecting, drying, and selling the berries all the way to Kathmandu, providing livelihoods for up to 174 households. The adoption of drip irrigation (drip irrigation + fertilization) in Nepal has reduced water consumption by up to 70% compared to traditional methods. This method is particularly well-suited for the delicate mountain climate, where the efficient use of water and fertilizers is key to sustainability and soil conservation.

Pomegranate seed oil

Organic

Pomegranate seed oil

INCI: Punica granatum (Pomegranate) Seed OilIndiacold-pressed

Pomegranate seed oil is a light, easily spreadable and moisturising oil that is well absorbed without leaving a greasy feeling on the skin. It helps to bind moisture to the skin, making it an excellent choice for dry, lifeless, and dehydrated skin. The oil is rich in vitamin E, which protects skin cells from oxidative stress and promotes a youthful, radiant appearance. The combination of vitamins, minerals and essential fatty acids also makes it an effective anti-ageing ingredient – it helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles and protects the skin from free radicals. Its antiseptic and anti-inflammatory properties also make it suitable for blemish-prone or acne-prone skin.

Composition

Organic, luxurious pomegranate seed oil is produced by cold-pressing the seeds of beautiful red-violet Punica granatum fruits, cultivated in the sunny orchards of the Indian subcontinent. This oil is a highly valued ingredient in cosmetics, particularly in skincare products, due to its unique properties. Pomegranate seed oil is a rare source of punicic acid – this polyunsaturated fatty acid is the only known conjugated linolenic acid (CLnA) in the plant kingdom and one of the most potent plant-derived antioxidants. Furthermore, its excellent oxidative stability makes it a highly sought-after ingredient in the cosmetics and skincare industry.

Sustainability

Organic pomegranate seed oil produced in India is an example of a responsible ingredient for natural cosmetics. It is made by cold-pressing seeds left over from juice production, which reduces waste and utilizes the entire fruit. The government and organizations such as MOVCD-NER and Navdanya support farmers in transitioning to organic farming and securing a better livelihood. This supports biodiversity, soil health, and the vitality of local communities. Pomegranate seed oil is, therefore, not only effective in skincare but also an ecologically and socially sustainable choice.

Jojoba oil
03
Organic

Jojoba oil

INCI: Simmondsia Chinensis (Jojoba) Seed OilIsraelcold-pressed

Jojoba oil soothes sensitive skin, reduces impurities, and maintains moisture balance. Its best quality is its exceptional ability to penetrate deeper into the skin than most other oils. Thanks to this property, jojoba oil also acts as a carrier for active, fat-soluble ingredients, delivering active compounds exactly where the skin needs them most. Jojoba oil does not clog pores, and its light yet nourishing texture makes it ideal for blemish-prone and reactive skin as well. The skin becomes balanced, soothed, and naturally radiant.

Composition

Organic, unrefined golden jojoba oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of Simmondsia chinensis shrubs. It is not a true oil but a liquid plant wax, whose structure closely resembles the skin's natural sebum. For this reason, it absorbs smoothly and naturally into the skin, without leaving a heavy or oily residue. Jojoba oil is packed with beauty-enhancing vitamins A, E, and D, antioxidants, and fatty acids, and it is capable of nourishing the skin deeper than the surface. Its main fatty acid is the rare gondoic acid, an unsaturated fatty acid found primarily in cod liver oil but hardly at all in other vegetable oils. This makes jojoba unique – its fatty acid composition is not comparable to other commonly used vegetable oils. Additionally, the oil contains significant amounts of zinc, chromium, and copper, which support the skin's natural functions and regeneration.

Sustainability

Jojoba cultivation offers several environmental benefits. Water conservation: Jojoba requires little water and tolerates saline and recycled water, thus conserving freshwater resources. Soil improvement: Its deep root system prevents erosion and improves soil structure, making it an ideal plant for combating desertification. Carbon sequestration: Jojoba shrubs absorb carbon dioxide, which helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Biodiversity support: Jojoba plantations provide habitats for many animal species and support pollinator populations, such as bees and butterflies.

INCI: Terminalia Ferdinandiana (Kakadu Plum) Seed OilAustraliacold-pressed

Kakadu plum's unique antioxidant composition protects the skin from environmental damage. Its synergistic effect neutralizes free radicals, helping to combat oxidative stress and shield the skin from environmental pollutants and UV rays. The exceptionally high vitamin C content makes Kakadu plum an effective reducer of hyperpigmentation and dark spots. It inhibits excessive melanin production, brightening and evening out skin tone faster than traditional vitamin C products. Unlike many synthetic forms of vitamin C, the natural vitamin C in Kakadu plum, together with vitamin E, is a gentler option even for sensitive skin that cannot tolerate ascorbic acid.

Composition

The Kakadu plum is a small, green fruit that grows in northern Australia. It differs completely from common plums, as the Kakadu plum is more closely related to an almond than a plum. This fruit contains the highest known vitamin C content of any plant source – up to 3800 mg / 100 g of fruit, which is over 75 times more than in an orange (approx. 50 mg / 100 g). In addition to its high vitamin C content, Kakadu plum seed oil is rich in skin-beneficial nutrients such as vitamin E, zinc, iron, as well as antioxidants and anti-inflammatory compounds like gallic and ellagic acid, which support the skin's protective mechanisms, strengthen its structure, and promote a natural glow.

Sustainability

The Kakadu plum oil used by Florita is sourced from certified organic farms in northern Australia. Orchard-style cultivation ensures that the trees grow in controlled, ecologically sustainable conditions without pesticides or artificial fertilizers. Organic farming protects the soil, water systems, and surrounding biodiversity. Cultivation and harvesting often occur in cooperation with Australia's Indigenous communities. This ensures that the economic benefits of production return to the local level and support communities' employment, cultural continuity, and vitality.

Organic

Rosehip seed oil

INCI: Rosa Mosqueta / Rosa Rubiginosa (Rose Hip) Seed OilChilecold-pressed

Rosehip seed oil is a true revitalizing powerhouse for the skin. Its active compounds, such as trans-retinoic acid and essential fatty acids, boost the skin's own collagen production, making the skin visibly firmer and smoother. Regular use, morning and evening, helps maintain skin elasticity and youthfulness. Its high vitamin A and C content promotes skin cell renewal, brightens the skin, and keeps pores clean. The oil is also known for its ability to fade scars and accelerate the healing of skin damage, which is why it is popular for treating acne scars, for example. Anti-inflammatory compounds – such as vitamin E, polyphenols, and linolenic acid – soothe the skin, alleviate redness, and balance sebum production. The oil is also perfectly suited for sensitive and impure skin.

Composition

Our organic rosehip seed oil is cold-pressed from the seeds of the Rosa Rubiginosa rose species (also known as Rosa Mosqueta), which is commonly grown in the southern Chilean Andes. What distinguishes Rosa Rubiginosa oil from the more common Rosa Canina version is its active ingredient, trans-retinoic acid (also known as tretinoin, with a concentration of approximately 0.357 ml/l). Pure cold-pressed rosehip oil naturally has an orange or reddish hue, is slightly thick, and has an earthy and herbaceous scent. Its composition is exceptionally rich in nutrients – the oil contains abundant omega-3, omega-6, and omega-9 fatty acids, as well as skin-repairing vitamins A, B, and C, which support skin well-being and regeneration.

Sustainability

Chile, particularly the Bío-Bío and Patagonia regions, is known for its high-quality organic rosehip cultivation. Approximately 25 small-scale farmers and women's communities in the Bío-Bío region hand-pick rosehips in cooperation with local communities. They receive fair compensation and the necessary training in ethical and ecological production methods. The oil is produced by cold pressing, which saves energy, preserves the valuable nutrients of the plant, and minimizes environmental impact. The process does not use solvents or high temperatures, making it gentle on both nature and the skin.

Squalane
08

Squalane

INCI: Olive PhytosqualaneIndiahydrogenated olive oil

Squalane effectively moisturizes the skin and supports its natural protective barrier. It absorbs easily, makes the skin soft and smooth, and helps prevent moisture loss. Squalane soothes irritated and sensitive skin, reduces redness, and balances sebum production – which is why it's also well-suited for oily or acne-prone skin. It moisturizes and softens the skin, strengthens the skin's protective barrier, and helps prevent dryness, all while making the skin smoother and more even without clogging pores.

Composition

Squalane is a stable and hydrogenated form of squalene – a natural, fat-like substance found in the human body, animals, and plants. Squalene is naturally produced in the skin's sebum and is an important part of the skin's own moisture-barrier. Both squalene and squalane have been used in cosmetics since the early 20th century, but originally, they were mainly sourced from animal products. The most common and controversial of these was the liver of deep-sea sharks, which can contain up to 70% squalene. However, sharks were not fished for food, but solely for their liver fat – this led to serious ethical and ecological problems, as deep-sea sharks reproduce slowly and their populations are easily endangered. Today, responsible skincare no longer needs ingredients produced at the expense of shark populations. Our carefully formulated squalane oil is a pure, single-ingredient product naturally derived from a non-GMO, plant-based source: olive oil.

Sustainability

The squalane we use is derived from olive squalene. The raw material is renewable and plant-based, and it is gently processed through hydrogenation, which makes it naturally stable without added preservatives. This process utilizes responsibly grown olives and supports biotechnological solutions that reduce the consumption of natural resources. The result is a skin-friendly oil that moisturizes and protects, while its production minimizes environmental impact – good for both your skin and the planet.

Sea buckthorn berry oil is rich in essential fatty acids, such as omega-3, -6, -7, and -9, as well as carotenoids and tocopherols. Carotenoids give the oil its characteristic color and act as powerful antioxidants, while vitamin E supports the skin's protective mechanisms and helps maintain its moisture balance.

Sustainability

Sea buckthorn is cultivated in China in areas where it naturally grows in harsh conditions. The plant is highly adaptable and does not require intensive cultivation, which reduces the need for pesticides and supports the natural balance of the soil. Sea buckthorn is also known as a soil-strengthening plant, as it binds nitrogen and helps prevent erosion in dry and challenging areas. In many regions, sea buckthorn cultivation and harvesting provide an important source of income for local communities, and harvesting is done carefully to preserve quality.

Composition

The tea plant (Camellia Sinensis), originating from Southeast Asia, belongs to the Theaceae family. All types of tea – black, oolong, green, white, and yellow – are produced from this same plant; the differences arise from which parts of the plant are used and the fermentation and processing methods employed. Green tea seed oil is made by pressing the plant's seeds, yielding a pure and natural vegetable oil that retains the valuable nutrients of the tea plant. The oil has a light, silky texture and is quickly absorbed, leaving no greasy residue on the skin. It is rich in natural tocopherols (Vitamin E), polyphenols, and other antioxidants that effectively protect and nourish the skin. Thanks to these properties, green tea seed oil is an ideal ingredient for sensitive, moisture-deprived, and dull skin.

Sustainability

The tea plant is a resilient crop that thrives in nutrient-poor soil. Oil production utilizes the seeds of the tea plant, which are often by-products of the tea industry. Thus, the production of seed oil promotes the circular economy and reduces waste. Additionally, the cold-pressing method for oil is an energy-efficient process that preserves the oil's nutrients without chemical solvents or high temperatures.
